Military Hunger Prevention Act [HB-3801]
Requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to pay a basic needs allowance to a regular member of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force who is low-income and meets other specified requirements. NO HATE Act National Opposition to Hate, Assault, and Threats to Equality Act of 2019 [HB-3545]
Establishes various grants within the Department of Justice for states and units of local government to improve law enforcement activities to address hate crimes, including by improving the reporting of hate crime data to relevant national systems.
