As introduced, this bill changes the use of additional uncommitted amounts in the unrestricted fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia. As introduced, this bill requires the Department of Health Care Finance to establish a new capital project, the East End Medical Center (to be constructed on the Saint Elizabeths East Campus), and provides for its funding, operation, and maintenance. The bill also establishes a special fund, the East End Medical Center Fund and program, the East End Grocery and Retail Incentive Program. Telehealth Medicaid Expansion Act Of 2017 [CB-220233] [Healthcare ] [Medicare and Medicaid ] [Technology and Innovation ] [Funding ] [Public Health ]
As introduced, this bill establishes what reimbursement codes a telehealth provider must utilize to be eligible for reimbursement. It establishes the criteria and protocols that must be in place for remote patient monitoring services eligibility and reimbursement. Among other things, it requires the Department of Health Care Finance to seek Federal authorization where required to implement the Act. FUNDING NOTE - This legislation is Subject to Appropriations. Solar Cooperative Association Expansion Amendment Act Of 2017 [CB-220229] [Energy ] [Housing ] [Real Estate ] [Consumer Protection ]
Law 22-142 clarifies that homeowners associations, cooperative housing associations, and condominium associations may not disallow owners from installing or using a solar energy collection device unless the prohibition is expressed in the association's articles of incorporation. The bill permits exceptions for instances where the proposed installation would occur on common areas or elements and reasonable restrictions concerning size, location, and manner of installation of the solar energy collection device.
