An act to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to providing for a graduated license for youthful operators of motor vehicles [AB-6120]
This bill would allow individuals holding a class DJ or MJ license an extra hour on their driving time restrictions changing the current nine o'clock curfew to ten o'clock. This will give youthful drivers additional time to be able to get home from work prior to their curfew. This bill would also require more time for a person learning to drive to gain experience before being able to transport additional people or to be eligible to take a road test.
