Establishes that insurers providing rental vehicle reimbursement coverage shall not require an insured to utilize a particular rental vehicle company; requires an insurer writing automobile insurance which includes rental vehicle reimbursement coverage to inform the consumer of his or her right to choose a rental vehicle company to utilize in the event he or she utilizes such coverage.

Requires courts, prior to accepting a plea to a misdemeanor or violation, to provide notice to the defendant that such plea and the acceptance thereof could result in deportation, removal from the United States, exclusion from the United States or denial of citizenship, if the defendant is not a citizen of the United States. [AB-4963]
This bill requires notification of alien defendants during the plea process that pleading. guilty to a misdemeanor or violation may subject them to automatic removal (deportation) or denial of naturalization.

Requires that local disaster preparedness plans of a county, city, town, or village not conflict with those of others; disputes with a county are to be resolved by the county; disputes crossing county lines are to be resolved by the state emergency management office; New York city is to be treated as a county for such purposes. [AB-5025]
This bill would require that neighboring governments have consistent disaster preparedness plans to ensure a smooth, safe and workable evacuation and response. The State Emergency Management Office will work with different municipalities to create coherent regional planning.
