Directs the director of the division of veterans affairs to develop a program relating to veteran educational speakers; requires distribution of informational pamphlet to schools describing program and containing names of area veterans willing to speak to students regarding their military service experience. [AB-1532]
: To create a veteran speaker education program within the Division of Veterans' Affairs. Specifically, the bill would require the Division of Veterans' Affairs in consultation with the director of the New York state military museum and veterans resource center, to develop an informational pamphlet to be distributed to school districts which provides a general overview of the program and a listing of available veteran speakers willing to discuss their military experience.

Relates to the general powers of the public service commission in respect to gas and electric corporations; authorizes the public service commission to require gas and electric corporations to eliminate provisions attempting to relieve such corporations from liability arising from their negligence or willful misconduct; provides for the investigation of regulatory conduct and provides for damages to persons affected by such regulatory failure. [AB-1566]
This bill would change the standard of care for electric and gas companies from "gross negligence" to "negli- gence."
