An act to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to the power of harbor masters and bay constables to arrest on warrants pursuant to their special duties [AB-3760]
The purpose of this bill would amend Subdivision 18 of Section 2.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law, as amended by Chapter 224 of the Laws of 1998, to include all bay constables appointed by a county, city, town or village within the definition of a peace officer, not just those specifically referred to in the current version of the Criminal Procedure Law.

An act to amend the public housing law and the public authorities law, in relation to establishing the Long Island Next Generation - First Time Home Buyer Grant Program [AB-3848]
The State of New York Mortgage Agency CSONYMA) receives no direct operating support from the state. However, as required by statute, the state must guarantee payments made by the agency to the state in prior years. To satisfy this statute, the budget appropriates $375-$390 million per year for this cause, however no such cash disbursements Occur. With this in mind, the enactment of this bill will require at the end of the fiscal year that $150 million of the fund balance be reauthorized as the "Long Island Next Generation - First Time Home Buyers (continued...)
