Relates to autism spectrum disorders in individuals twenty-one years or less; directs the department of health to promulgate rules and regulations establishing standards for qualified autism services provider and upon such promulgation, payment for treatment of autism spectrum disorders covered shall only be made available to autism services providers who meet such standards; further directs the department of health shall further establish standards to be utilized by managed care plans for the credentialing of autism service providers and authorizes that the department of insurance may require that a managed care plan grant credentials to any autism service provider whom the department determines meets or exceeds the department's credentialing standards. [AB-6001]

An act to amend the education law, in relation to establishing a volunteer firefighters and emergency medical service volunteer tuition assistance grant program [AB-6029]
This legislation would help to address the continuing difficulty local volunteer fire and emergency medical service (EMS) departments have had recruiting and retaining volunteers. This difficulty is particularly true for young people who are hard pressed to pursue their careers and their education while volunteering for these critically important services.

An act to amend the state finance law, in relation to the disqualification of tax delinquent bidders and certain exceptions [AB-6061]
The bill requires all state agencies, including public authorities, and public benefit corporations to check on the tax delinquency status of each vendor prior to entering into a contract or subcontract to insure that contracts and subcontracts are awarded or approved only to those firms in good standing with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, with exceptions to be made for certain circumstances.

An act to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to requiring the collection of recyclable materials at state parks, historic sites and recreational facilities; to amend the general municipal law, in relation to encouraging municipalities to establish and implement programs for the collection of recyclable materials that are discarded in parks, playgrounds, historic sites and other recreational facilities; and to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to providing state assistance therefor to municipalities [AB-6103]
The bill would reduce waste management costs for State and local governments by requiring recycling in parks, historic sites and other facilities, as well as encouraging users of these facilities to carry out the waste they generate.
