This bill extends final orders of protection and allows for the court to renew such orders for a duration. The courts will be able to issue a final order of protection, after a conviction, for a period up to ten years and renew the order as needed.

An act to amend the public authorities law and the public service law, in relation to enacting the electric power re-regulation act [AB-5102]
This bill would correct problems associated with the electric market in the wake of the restructuring that occurred in the late 1990s. Despite a market-oriented solution, electric prices have risen dramatically in the past ten years. This bill would allow for more generation to be created and would create a more responsible and transparent market on which the electric commodity is traded.
