The purpose of this bill is to modify the school aid formula, amend the definition of levies for general current expense purposes; institute a floor of 1,400 students for the purposes of determining the county’s basic foundation program;Â provide for allocating state aid share of certain counties by calculating the basic foundation program upon the 2015-2016 determined local share; and increase funding for alternative education programs.
