West Virginia Residential Furniture and Children's Products Flame Retardants Act [HB-4609]
The purpose of this bill is to create the West Virginia Residential Furniture and Children's Products Flame Retardants Act administered and enforced under the authority of the Commissioner of the Bureau for Public Health. The bill prohibits the use of certain flame-retardant chemicals in certain products, including those designed for use by children. The bill states when replacement chemicals may be used; in these product and provides exemptions to requirements. The bill requires a report to Joint Committee on Government and Finance by the Commissioner

Relating to child welfare [HB-4661]
The purpose of this bill is to create an Aging Out of Foster Unit within the Department of Health and Human Resources to assist children eighteen years of age or older who have been in the foster care system. The bill authorizes the Unit to track and collect statistics related to these children, provide assistance to them and to report annually to the Governor and Joint Committee on Government and Finance and the Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Resources. The bill uses the “vapor product” definition from §16-9A-2 of this code

The Agriculture and Tourism Incentive Act [HB-4682]
