Relating to human trafficking [HB-2553]
The purpose of this bill is to amend the human trafficking statute so that certain definitions and provisions conform to provisions of a bill on Human Trafficking that has been approved by the Uniform Law Commission and unanimously approved by the ABA House of Delegates.

Creating the Second Chance for Employment Act [HB-2604]
The purpose of this bill is to create the Second Chance for Employment Act. It provides a procedure for the expungement of certain felony convictions. The bill prohibits the expungement of certain felony convictions, including those causing serious injury, those involving deadly weapons, certain assaults and batteries, domestic violence and sexual offenses. The bill also sets forth the requirements before a petition may be made and before a petition may be granted. The bill also requires the petitioner to pay a fee.

Good Jobs First Act [HB-2679]
The purpose of this bill is to create the Good Jobs First Act. The bill requires the reporting of job creation and retention data, tax credit data and property tax redemptions, abatements and exemptions to the Department of Revenue. It requires the Department of Revenue to report the data to the Legislature and to publish the reports on the Internet. This article is new; therefore, it has been completely underscored.
