Relating to Medical Professional Liability [HB-2757]
The purpose of this bill is to amend the Medical Professional Liability act by adding a definition for “occurrence,” reducing the statute of limitations from two years to one year in certain actions, providing for a venue preference, establishing an attorneys’ fees schedule based on the amount recovered, establishing the effective date and providing for severability.
