Veteran's Additional Property Tax Exemption Amendment [HJR-13]
The purpose of this resolution is to provide for an election to amend the state Constitution to exempt honorably discharged veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States who served during a period of war from ad valorem property taxation an additional $30,000 of assessed value of his or her primary residence.

Creating a state program allowing high school students advance to getting a college degree or technical training while in high school [HB-2367]
The purpose of this bill is to create a new state program that allows high school students to enter into early specialized training to prepare them for careers while attending high school. The bill allows the State Board of Education to create agreements with colleges and community and technical schools to allow high school students to complete a one-year or two-year program while in high school. The bill gives discretion to the state board on implementing and funding this program.
