AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-51-201, relative to compensation paid to firefighters for certain conditions or injuries. [HB-482]
As introduced, adds prostate cancer, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer to the list of cancers for which a presumption is created that certain conditions or impairments of full-time firefighters caused by prostate cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, or other listed cancers arose out of employment unless the contrary is shown by competent medical evidence. - Amends TCA Section 7-51-201.
