Criminal Law - First Degree Escape - Escape from Drug and Alcohol Treatment [HB-1035]
Prohibiting a defendant from knowingly escaping from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene after a commitment by a court for treatment of alcohol or drug dependency; and establishing that a person who violates the Act is guilty of the felony of escape in the first degree.
