An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Scrap Processors. [HB-441]
This Act requires scrap metal processors to upload the VIN into the NMVTIS by the end of the next business day and to have the vehicle cleared by the State Police auto theft technician before scrapping, dismantling, or altering the vehicle. This Act also removes the requirement that a salvage dealer or junk dealer certify to DelDOT within 30 days of buying a totaled vehicle for scrap.

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Auditor Of Accounts. [HB-53]
Currently, all school districts, including vocational schools, are subject to the Auditor of Accounts. Edits to the November 2010 Charter School Manual removed instructions for charter schools to go through Auditor of Accounts when contracting for audits. There is presently no legislative authority to require charter schools to submit to the Auditor of Accounts processes. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Delaware Medical Orders For Scope Of Treatment Act. [HB-64]
This Act authorizes the use of Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment in Delaware. This document, a “DMOST form,” will allow Delawareans to plan ahead for health-care decisions, express their wishes in writing, and both enable and obligate health care professionals to act in accordance with a patient’s expressed preferences. Section 1 of this Bill adds a new chapter outlining the scope and requirements of a DMOST. The statute authorizes a medical order which is transportable, standardized, and implements a patient's end-of-life care preferences.
