A concurrent resolution extending the life of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. Declares that: (1) the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, created by S.Con.Res. 28 (114th Congress), to make the necessary arrangements for the inauguration of the President-elect and the Vice President-elect of the United States, is continued with the same power and authority provided for in such resolution; and (2) the provisions of S.Con.Res. 29 (114th Congress), to authorize the rotunda and Emancipation Hall of the Capitol (continued...)

To direct the Joint Committee on the Library to obtain a statue or bust of Elie Wiesel for placement in the United States Capitol. [HB-2230] [Arts and Culture ] [Libraries ]
To direct the Joint Committee on the Library to obtain a statue or bust of Elie Wiesel for placement in the United States Capitol. This bill requires the Joint Committee on the Library to enter into an agreement to obtain a statue or bust of Eli Wiesel. The Joint Committee may authorize the Architect of the Capitol to enter into the agreement and related contracts. The Joint Committee shall place the statue or bust in a suitable permanent location in the U.S. Capitol.
