Prohibiting in Washington County tree planting in a specified State highway right-of-way to implement a State Watershed Implementation Plan under specified circumstances; requiring the State Highway Administration to negotiate in good faith with commercial property owners in Washington County regarding the placement of directional or promotional signs in State highway rights-of-way; requiring the Administration to coordinate efforts to minimize the fiscal impact on the Transportation Trust Fund; etc.

Air Navigation Protection From Hazards Act of 2017 [HB-874]
Creating an exemption under the Forest Conservation Act for the cutting or clearing of trees to comply with a specified provision of law relating to obstructions to air navigation; and providing that the exemption does not apply to the cutting or clearing of trees to facilitate the expansion or extension of the boundaries of any airport or runway.

Vacant developed property; overgrown shrubs and trees. Authorizes localities to require owners of vacant developed property to cut overgrown shrubs and trees on the property. The bill also authorizes localities, after reasonable notice, to cut overgrown shrubs and trees on vacant developed property and charge the cost to the owner.
