Summary of House Bill No. 910
The bill states that personal identifying information of individuals who have been arrested or charged, but not convicted, is to be kept confidential by municipal and county law enforcement agencies and detention facilities. This information includes home addresses, telephone numbers, and social security numbers. However, this does not apply to parole or probation violations.
The bill also allows for the disclosure of personal information for the statewide automated victim information and notification system. Additionally, it specifies who can request and access motor vehicle accident reports containing personal identifying information.
