Relating To Neighborhood Boards. [SB-2058]
Defines "community outreach board" to mean a board established to serve in a community advisory capacity under a county department. Includes community outreach boards under existing provisions of the Sunshine Law regarding neighborhood boards. Authorizes neighborhood board or community outreach board members to attend meetings or presentations related to official board business statewide. Takes effect 7/1/2112. (SD1)

AN ACT relating to fire protection. [HB-43]
Creates a new section of KRS 75.100 to 75.260 to require a fire protection district, volunteer fire department district, or subdistrict to host a public hearing and provide notice of the hearing when making a change to fire protection services involving communications, firefighting resources, or water supply that will likely downgrade fire service ratings.
