Supporting Kinship Connections Act [HB-4352]
Requires the Department of Health and Human Services to provide grants for developing, enhancing, or evaluating kinship navigator programs. Such programs help grandparents and other relative caregivers find and use services to meet the needs of the caregivers and the children they are raising. Revises the application process for a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. College Student Hunger Act of 2019 [S.2143]
Expands the eligibility of students at institutions of higher education to participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as the food stamp program).
