Relating To Marijuana. [SB-2487]
Exempts drug paraphernalia for marijuana from certain penalties under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Lowers the penalties for the possession and transfer without remuneration of certain amounts of marijuana, marijuana concentrate, and marijuana-infused products. Makes smoking marijuana in a public place a violation under the offense of promoting a detrimental drug in the third degree. (HD1)

Specifies sensitive locations in which the carrying of firearms is restricted or prohibited. Authorizes, in certain circumstances, the carrying of firearms on private property. Specifies areas in which the carrying or possession of electric guns is restricted or prohibited. Imposes certain firearm storage requirements for individuals licensed to carry firearms. Requires the Department of the Attorney General to submit to the Legislature, over a 4-year period, semi-annual reports on the public carrying of firearms.

Relating To Controlled Substances. [HB-1596]
Makes the class B felony offense of delivering drug paraphernalia to persons under eighteen years of age applicable to offenders who are at least twenty-one years old. Exempts drug paraphernalia for marijuana from certain penalties under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Makes the possession of less than one ounce of recreational marijuana a nonjailable violation punishable by a fine of $25. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)
