Adds a requirement that the Department of Human Services expunge a report or reports when the department finds that a miscarriage of justice would persist if the report or reports were not expunged. Requires the Department of Human Services to provide notice to all parties who are placed on the Hawaii Child Abuse and Neglect Registry. Provides an avenue for persons on the Hawaii Child Abuse and Neglect Registry to petition for removal from the registry. Effective 12/31/2050. (SD1)

Relating To The Landlord-tenant Code. [SB-1388]
Extends the required period for a notice of summary possession from five business days to fifteen calendar days. Requires landlords to provide notice with specified terms to a tenant and enter into mediation with the tenant. Delays when a landlord may seek possession of a dwelling unit if the tenant schedules or attempts to schedule mediation. Requires landlords to provide the notice to mediation centers that offer free mediation for residential landlord-tenant disputes. Relating To Fair Scheduling. [SB-290]
Requires employers to provide employees with written notice of the employee's shift schedule at least ten calendar days before the employee is scheduled to work, under certain circumstances. Requires certain employers to pay their employees twice as much as their regular rate of pay for time worked when their shift schedule was not timely given.
