AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 6; Title 8 and Title 9, relative to municipal finances. [HB-505]
As enacted, revises on a temporary basis, from May 11, 2021, to January 1, 2023, provisions governing collateral for public deposits so that a qualified public depository that accepts any public deposit between May 1, 2021, and December 31, 2022, that would increase its collateral by 25 percent will have 10 calendar days from the date of the deposit to deposit additional collateral to secure such increase. - Amends TCA Title 6; Title 8 and Title 9.
