Explanation of Bill: Make Border Security a Priority Act of 2022
This bill aims to ensure that an equal amount of funding is allocated to enhancing security along the southern border of the United States as is designated for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. Additionally, it proposes the confiscation of assets belonging to Russian individuals or entities that are subject to U.S. sanctions, with the funds from these confiscated assets to be used for border security measures.
