Relating to suicide prevention awareness [SB-359]
The purpose of this bill is to expand the number of people who are trained in suicide prevention in order to maximize the possibility that at risk children and adults can be saved. School personnel from middle school through college will not only be trained, they will provide children and young adults with suicide prevention information, facilitate discussion about preventing suicide and make mental health resources available. Licensed medical professionals will be required to obtain education in suicide prevention as part of their licensing process.

Relating to farmers markets [SB-304]
The purpose of this bill is to establish a farmers market vendor permit and its scope and fees. It states a purpose and provides definitions. The bill permits consignment farmers markets. Providing for expedited partner therapy [SB-232]
The purpose of this bill is to allow for expedited partner therapy treatment for a sexually transmitted disease. The bill permits prescribing antibiotics for the partner of a patient without first examining the partner under certain circumstances. The bill requires counseling by the physician. The bill also requires the Department of Health and Human Resources to develop outreach materials. The bill provides for limited liability for physicians, physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses who prescribe in an expedited partner therapy

Amending State Administrative Procedures Act [SB-140]
The purpose of this bill is to amend the state Administrative Procedures Act. It defines the term "legislative exempt rule" and adds that term to the provisions regarding the requirements for amendments to existing rules, proposed new rules and the repeal of existing rules. Provisions are added regarding rules of agencies which cease to exist and technical amendments to existing rules.
