Authorizing Monitoring Devices in Long-term Care Facilities [HB-3283]
The purpose of this bill is to authorize family members to install monitors at long-term care facilities to check on elderly or disabled family members who in many cases cannot speak for themselves; establishes requirements to assure privacy of other residents; establishes conditions for use of the monitors; and establishes misdemeanor penalties for interfering with the monitoring.
