Ensuring Integrity in the IRS Workforce Act of 2017 This bill amends the Internal Revenue Code to prohibit the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from rehiring any individual who was previously employed by the IRS but was removed for misconduct or whose employment was terminated for cause. The bill generally applies with respect to any employee removed from employment before, on, or after the date of enactment of this bill. It does not apply to any employee who is employed by the IRS as of the enactment of this bill with respect to any removal for misconduct

Public Service Integrity Act This bill amends the federal criminal code to increase to five years the post-employment lobbying ban on a former member of the U.S. Senate (currently, two years) or a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives (currently, one year). Additionally, the bill increases from one year to two years the post-employment lobbying restrictions on officers and employees of the legislative branch. It also lowers the income threshold at which the restrictions become applicable for such officers and employees.
