Under current laws, people are not allowed to have certain types of firearms. This bill aims to specifically prohibit individuals from knowingly possessing a machine gun, its frame or receiver, parts that can convert a regular firearm into a machine gun, and parts that can be used to build a machine gun. Violating this prohibition would result in a criminal penalty.
