The purpose of this bill is to allow Tier II members of the Teachers Retirement System to apply accrued annual and sick leave, on the basis of one day's retirement service credit for each two days of accrued annual and sick leave, toward an increase in his or her retirement benefits with those days constituting additional credited service in computation of the benefits under the Teachers Retirement System.
