Judges; reduces number in circuit courts in the Twenty-first and Twenty-second Circuits. [HB-1427]
Circuit courts; number of circuit court judges in the Twenty-first and Twenty-second Circuits. Reduces the maximum number of circuit court judges in the Twenty-second Circuit from five to four and removes the provision for the future reduction in the number of circuit court judges in the Twenty-first Circuit from three to two. The bill also removes the requirement that the Judicial Council study and report on the need for additional judges before a new judgeship may be created.

Cover sheets; multiple deeds or instruments concerning the same interest in real property; certificates of satisfaction. Allows one cover sheet to be used for multiple deeds or instruments filed concerning the same interest in real property. The bill further allows one cover sheet to be used where a deed or other instrument has multiple titles. The bill provides that, where one cover sheet is required, only one filing fee may be assessed by the clerk.
