Authorizing insureds to protest certain proposed actions of insurers, with respect to a policy of private passenger motor vehicle liability insurance or a binder of private passenger motor vehicle liability insurance, by filing the protest electronically through the consumer complaint portal on the Maryland Insurance Administration's website within 30 days after the mailing date on the notice of proposed action; etc.

Prohibiting a person from using a scanning device to scan or swipe an individual's identification card or a driver's license to obtain personal information; prohibiting a person from retaining, selling, or transferring any information collected from scanning or swiping an individual's identification card or driver's license; providing that the Act does not prohibit a law enforcement officer from using a scanning device to record, retain, or transmit information if acting within the scope of the officer's official duties; etc.

Prohibits the sale of tickets to an exhibition, game, concert, and other events at prices greater than the sum of the price printed on the ticket, any lawful taxes collected, and, if permitted pursuant to a written contract between the seller of the ticket and the primary ticket seller, any reasonable charge for services.
