The purpose of this bill is to prohibit minors under the age of sixteen from obtaining a tattoo. The bill requires a parent or legal guardian to be present at the tattoo studio, provide photo identification and written consent for minors sixteen years of age or older obtaining a tattoo. The bill also provides for penalties.

Relating to standards for registered family child care homes [SB-538]

The purpose of this bill is to remove the requirement that program standards for registered family child care homes and all licensed programs be included as part of the rule to implement the quality rating and improvement system and require, instead, that the secretary establish and maintain these standards.
