Fire prevention and building safety commission. Increases the size of the fire prevention and building safety commission (commission) from 11 members to 12 members. Requires commission members to represent certain defined interests or professions, beginning August 1, 2023. Requires a commission member to be a resident of Indiana, beginning August 1, 2023. Provides that with respect to the construction of a Class 2 structure for which a building permit is issued after December 31, 2023, the structure must be designed, constructed, and wired so as to enable an occupant of the structure to charge an electric vehicle (EV) through the use of EV supply equipment supplied by the occupant or a third party.
