Requiring the Department of Agriculture to adopt regulations to establish specified standards for products sold as honey; requiring the State standards for products sold as honey to be consistent with a specified standard for honey under the Codex Alimentarius of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization; and defining the term "honey".

Prohibiting a person from using the term "farmers market" to describe certain venues; prohibiting a person from selling farm and food products at a farmers market unless 75% of the products offered were grown or processed by the person or under the supervision of the person; authorizing a person operating or coordinating a farmers market to impose more stringent requirements than the provisions of the Act; establishing the Farmers Market Review Panel; providing for the composition, chair, and staffing of the Panel; etc.
Department of Natural Resources - Solar Generation Facilities - Pollinator-Friendly Designation [SB-1158]
Requiring the power plant research program of the Department of Natural Resources to include in its research an evaluation of the pollinator benefits that would occur under a pollinator-friendly vegetation management standard or pollinator habitat plan implemented on the land on which a proposed or an existing ground-mounted solar generation facility is located; requiring the Department to adopt a specified Solar Site Pollinator Habitat Planning and Assessment scorecard; etc.

Requiring a specified pollinator habitat plan to include specified best management practices for the designation of specified habitat areas; requiring that a specified pollinator habitat plan established by the Department of Natural Resources, the Maryland Environmental Service, and the State Highway Administration be as protective of pollinators as the Department of Agriculture's managed pollinator protection plan; prohibiting, with specified exceptions, the use of specified pesticides, seeds, or plants in a specified area; etc.

Killing or Wounding Black Bears - Penalties - Exemption for Protection of Managed Honey Bee Colonies [HB-177]
Exempting an individual who kills or wounds a black bear in defense of the life of a honey bee in a honey bee colony managed by the individual on the individual's property from specified penalties, subject to a specified exception; and establishing that the exemption applies only if the individual has installed and properly maintained an electric fence.
