State Boat Act - Abandoned or Sunken Vessels - Removal [SB-219]
Altering the definition of an "abandoned or sunken vessel" to mean one that has remained at a location for more than 60 instead of 90 days without the consent of the property owner; requiring the Department of Natural Resources to take an abandoned vessel into custody without providing a certain notice if it determines that the vessel poses certain hazards; requiring, within 15 days after taking custody of an abandoned vessel, the Department to send a certain notice to the last known owner and each know secured party of the vessel; etc.

Prince George's County - Abandoned Property - Special Property Tax Rate [HB-1257]
Requiring the governing body of Prince George's County to set a special property tax rate that is 15% greater than the tax rate that is generally applicable to real property for a class of real property that consists of specified abandoned property for which there is a record owner; and providing that a requirement that the county set a single property tax rate for all real property does not apply to the special property tax rate on abandoned property.
