HB 1403 Maryland Historical Trust Properties Subject to Historic Preservation Easements Waiver Process

Requiring the Maryland Historical Trust to develop a process for the waiver, in certain circumstances, of certain requirements, processes and regulations applicable to a property subject to a historic preservation easement held by the Trust; and specifying the conditions under which exceptional circumstances exist to include property that is subject to repeated flooding, an urgent need exists to stabilize historic structures, excessive costs of compliance, extraordinary infrastructure costs, and potential for abandonment of the property.
