Resolution
WHEREAS, a man named Daniel Avitua passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 47. He lived a joyful and enthusiastic life.
WHEREAS, Daniel Avitua was born on October 3, 1974, in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in a military family and lived in different countries during his childhood. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1998 with a degree in engineering.
WHEREAS, Daniel Avitua worked as an electrical sales engineer at Siemens for over 20 years. He received an award for his strong work ethic and determination.
WHEREAS, Daniel Avitua married Sarah on May 31, 2008. They had a happy marriage for 13 years. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Sadie and Lyla. He enjoyed supporting the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and spending time with friends and family.
WHEREAS, Daniel Avitua is greatly missed, but his joyful and humble spirit and his care for others will continue to inspire and comfort those he left behind.
RESOLVED, that the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas Legislature pays tribute to the life of Daniel Avitua and extends heartfelt condolences to his wife Sarah, his daughters Sadie and Lyla, his parents Tony and Evelyn Avitua, his sisters Suzanne Gracia and Angela Avitua, his brother Jeffrey Avitua, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Tom and Nancy Johnson, his sisters-in-law Beth Williams and Mary Curtis, his brother-in-law Matt Johnson and his other relatives and friends.
RESOLVED, that an official copy of this resolution will be prepared for his family, and when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns, it will be done in memory of Daniel Avitua.
